Supplier Manager | Supplier Manager has been added to business tools, which will provide an additional layer of information that can be introduced into quotes and other documents. This very important addition ensures that both businesses and individual agents can include specific supplier terms and any other information within quotes, which then requires agreement by the customer when submitting a booking request via quotes. There are two important objectives covered by this development. Firstly, to provide as much information as possible within the customer quote. Secondly, to provide a layer of protection for travel businesses and individual agents when a booking request is made via the quote. A summary of to use Supplier Manager The first requirement is to add Supplier Information within Supplier Manager. This can be found under 'Business Tools'. Once this is done for each supplier it does not have to be edited again until such time that T&C URL changes. To add a new supplier simply click on 'Add Supplier' You will be shown a pop up that requires all fields completing, including the specific terms and conditions link that you want to appear on quote. That is the first part of the requirement completed. The second part is then included on each individual quote as required, details of which are shown below. Go to a quote and click on an existing price option or create a new price option. This will provide a pop up for the price option as shown below. On the existing price rows, or when you create a new one, there is a column named 'supplier price'. Adding the supplier price is optional, but if you do want to add the supplier, simply use the dropdown and choose the supplier and save. This will then include the terms and conditions for that supplier if a booking request is made from a quote. If there is more than one supplier you wish to add, simply add another row and choose that supplier. If you don't want to separate the pricing per supplier you can simply add zero in the price column for that row. Ensure you save all changes. In addition to this Supplier Manager process we have also added a free text box to the quote details where custom terms or any other message can be added. This will also be included within price options. The quote can now bee sent to the customer. If the customer chooses to use the 'book' request option in the feedback box, all the terms and conditions and any special messages will be displayed and they will need to to check boxes against each before submitting. Details of how that looks is shown below. The customer is required to check each box before submitting. When this feedback is submitted it is then captured within the history of TProfile. As shown below. This process is required for each price option within a quote and you can obviously use different suppliers in each of those price options. |
