TProfile 20.2

Component/FixDetails
Add New Itinerary Components

We have introduced additional component options when creating itineraries. These include Car hire, Transfers, Excursions, Escorted Tours, Rail and Cruise (short cruise tours). When you hit 'New Component' within an itinerary, you will see the pop up below.

Each of the components have their own individual pop ups containing the relevant information on each.

CAR HIRE : Pick up and drop off point are free text entry. Heading is the name given to the component, ie Car Hire from JFK'. Supplier is chosen from a dropdown. (which is managed by your administrator in Business Tools.). All fields apart from 'Heading' are optional. If a field is not used nothing will be shown for that data field.


TRANSFERS : All as per Car Hire functionality with the addition of a 'Duration'.

ATTRACTION TICKETS AND EXCURSIONS : All information optional apart from 'Heading'.


ESCORTED TOURS : As per excursion with the addition of a 'Duration'.

RAIL : Departure and Arrival point are dropdown, as is supplier. Rail stations are manged by the tprofile team and if you require any additions please submit as a ticket. Suppliers are managed by your administrator in Business Tools. All fields apart from 'Heading' are optional. If a field is not used nothing will be shown for that data field.


CRUISE : This is designed for ferry crossings and short cruises. All fields are optional apart from 'Heading'.

New Component icons

New icons have been created for each of the new components above and will be added automatically to the itinerary. Flights, Accommodation, Transfers, Ticket or excursion, Cruise/Ferry, Rail, Car Hire, Leisure day or other


                      


Allow manual ordering of quote legs

On previous versions the itinerary was always dictated by the date and time of the itinerary component. The default remains as the itinerary being ordered by date and time, however you can now manually drag and drop components and re-order as required. You do this by clicking anywhere within the chosen component leg and holding, then dragging that to the required position within the enquiry. If you wish to return to date and time order on that itinerary, there is a blue box located at the top of the itinerary, where you can simply click on the 'here' link to order by that method.


Addition of Supplier management in Business Tools

Within quote components there are now 'supplier' dropdowns for certain types such as car hire, rail, excursions etc. These can be managed by each customer using 'Supplier Manager' which lives under Business Tools > Platform Settings > General. 


 To add a supplier simply click on 'Add Supplier' and you will be shown the pop up below . Add supplier name, description is optional and choose the supplier type to ensure it appears in the correct dropdowns.

Addition of File Manager

We have added File Manager under Business Tools which allows you to create folders and upload images into relevant folders. To Create folders simply click 'Create Folder' and it will create a new folder for the area you are in, be that the root or within a folder. A breadcrumb is displayed at the top left to indicate where you are in the structure. Example : Current Folder: /Quote Images/Transfers/Plane Transfers/
