How to create Itineraries

How to get there: Dashboard⮕ Manage ⮕Product

Summary

Product Manager will allow administrators and central marketing teams to create specific products/itineraries and save them in TProfile. These products can range from simple single stays with excursions, multi-centre itineraries with a large number of components, single cruise products with some additional components, back-to-back cruises and so much more. Once these products have been created they can then be pulled directly into quotes.

Step One - Create a category

Examples of Categories: Beach, City Break, Cruise, Skiing, Long-haul, Luxury, Multi Centres
This helps to identify the product easier
If the products are used on the website, its easier for a customer to select

Dashboard⮕ Business Tools ⮕ platform settings ⮕ Products ⮕ Add Category

Name - Category Name

Holiday Type - Associate the holiday type with the name

Step Two - Dashboard⮕ Business Tools ⮕Product Manager

Click on ADD PRODUCT
Name - Name of your itinerary
Product Code - Create a product code for your records and this can be used when the agents pull in the product via ‘Quote Builder
Categories - Use the drop-down and select the category to match the template you are building that you entered in step one
Destinations - Use the drop-down to enter the destination to match your template
Brand - If you have multi=brands select the brand you want the template to associate with or leave blank for all brands
Status - Select the status - Live means - available to quote Draft - means not viewable yet.

Please note - The bottom half of the box is if you have our website and wish to add products.

**You will need to request further information via Jira.

Click Add and this will then add the product to the list.

Step Three

Click on the tick box on the right

Edit Details - To edit step two details

Edit Product - Select this option to create your template and once created you will be able to edit

Clone Product - This will allow you to clone(copy) a template you have already created and adjust it accordingly

Step Four

Click on edit product
You are then presented with an empty itinerary template. This will enable you to build a product from scratch by adding components, the itinerary will automatically save as you add more to it
With Cruise, you can add a single cruise/ferry leg or you can add in a full cruise itinerary. You can also use the 'back to back cruise option

Step Five

Set the status of your products to either Live or Draft

Once created the agent can view the products via the quote builder and select.
