How to use SMS in TProfile
Once this has been set up, you will be able to send an SMS and view all incoming and outgoing messages in the enquiry history.
How to get there: Dashboard ⮕Customers enquiry page⮕ History tab
Create an enquiry
Under the History tab, you will see a button called SMS
Select the SMS, this will open up a comment box
Add your message to the message box
The contact number related to the enquiry will automatically drop in
Click on send
Your message will drop into history under the type SMS
When the customer replies back to the SMS message the agent will receive an email notification
The message will drop into history
In the history log, click on events and you can view statuses
You are able to add the URL link from the quote in your message, which is then viewable on a mobile iPad by using the same method as above: either take the URL from the quote or once you have sent the quote >
Go into history and find the quote.
Right-click over YOUR HOLIDAY QUOTE.
Copy link address
Paste into the SMS
The feedback works in the same way that you sent it from the quote SEND TO CUSTOMER option.
Tips
The SMS relates to the customer's contact number, if you have the same number in the system more than once the reply will go to the first enquiry set up with that number. If this happens the reply will be in UNASSIGNED EMAILS, which only admin users can view.
You can only use one phone number in the SMS
