How to create a cruise-only quote (TProfile Lite Clients)

Create a cruise-only quote with no components.

Instructions for Creating a Cruise Quote

  1. Create a New Enquiry

  2. Select the Customer

  3. Add a Quote

    • Navigate to the Quote tab.

    • Click the pink ADD QUOTE button.

  4. Use the Quote Builder

    • On the "Quote Builder" page, select Create a Cruise Quote and click Next.

  5. Search for a Cruise

    • You will be provided with a search tool to select the desired cruise.

    • Use any of the search options to find the cruise.

Selecting the Required Cruise

  1. Search for the Cruise

    • Enter a name or destination in the search query box and click Search.

    • Alternatively, choose the operator, ship name, and departure date range, then click Search.

  2. Choose the Cruise

    • A list of cruise options will appear below.

    • Click Select on your chosen cruise.

  3. Select the Cabin

    • A list of available cabins will be displayed.

    • Select the required cabin.

  4. Review Cruise Details

    • The next page will show the details of the selected cruise.

    • Optionally, add a back-to-back cruise by clicking ADD ANOTHER.

  5. Create the Quote

    • Click Create.

  6. Edit the Quote

    • You will now be presented with an editable quote.

  7. Change the Layout

    • Locate the first content box.

    • Click Edit > Layouts.

    • Use the drop-down menu to select Cruise Quote.

  8. Add Additional Content

    • You can add additional content within the same box as needed.

Additional Editing Options

  1. Title

    • Give your quote a title.

    • Example: "Family Cruise to the Caribbean".

  2. Add Passenger Number

    • Select the number of adults, children, and infants.

  3. Overview

    • Use the Overview section as an introduction about the cruise or the ship.

    • This can also be used for upselling or including a personalized message from the agent to the customer.

  4. Price Display Type

    • Choose to display the price as TOTAL PRICE or PER PERSON PRICE.

Editing the Cruise Quote Details

  1. What's Included

    • Add free text in the available box under What’s Included.

    • Type the details and click Add.

    • Click Save.

  2. Edit the Price Panel

    • Click Edit on the price panel.

  3. Option Name

    • The chosen cabin name will automatically appear.

    • Change it if necessary.

  4. Balance Due

    • Add the balance due date.

  5. Deposit Amount

    • Enter the deposit amount.

  6. Deposit Due

    • Add the deposit due date.

  7. Price

    • Override the price if needed.

    • Always verify the price with your supplier.

  8. Discount

    • Add a discount.

    • Click DISPLAY ON QUOTE to show the discount.

  9. Select a Type

    • Use the drop-down box to select the type, in this example, choose Cruise.

NOTE: We are currently not using the commission, supplier price, or more information.

Adding a Content Box

  1. Text

    • Add extra information by free-typing in the text box.

    • Example: "Gratuities included".

  2. Image

    • Upload an image from your computer.

    • ⚠️ Not recommended due to specific pixel and size requirements.

  3. Video

    • Upload a video.

    • Note: A video is already included in cruise quotes, so consider if an additional video is necessary.

Finalizing and Sending the Quote

  1. Review Your Quote

    • Thoroughly check your quote and make any necessary final edits.

  2. Send the Quote to the Customer

    • Scroll to the top of the quote.

    • Click on SEND TO CUSTOMER to use the TProfile email system.

    • Alternatively, copy the link via Public View and paste it into your agent's email to send to the client.

Tips for Using the System

  1. Cabin Selection Tip

    • You can select multiple cabins for upselling opportunities.

    • When selecting cabins, if flights are included, bypass them and scroll to the cruise-only cabins.

  2. Overview Importance

    • The Overview section is one of the first texts the customer sees. Make it appealing and informative to attract interest.

  3. What's Included Box

    • In the What's Included box, you can rearrange items by dragging and dropping them into the desired order.
