How to use Global Pricing in ‘Cruise Manager’ 

How to access: Dashboard ⮕ Business Tools⮕ Cruise Manager 

What does global pricing results enable you to do? 

• Control the global pricing of cruises by adding certain criteria and ordering the priority in which the pricing should be applied.  

• The pricing is applied to a cruise in the order starting at the top and working down. When more than one price adjustment matches, they will all be applied, again based on the order set 

Price Adjustment Box explained  

• You can adjust the type by  

• Increase price by % 

• Decrease price by % 

• Increase price by the amount  

• Decrease price by the amount 

Adjust the type then enter the amount in the amount box

• Enter the Regions, operators and cruise type, using the drop-down boxes or leave blank.

• Set specific sailing dates in the start and end date box  

• Set price application on specific booking dates 

Example: This setting illustrates how you can adjust the prices by type. In this example, we are looking at “MSC CRUISES”   

Reduce £100 on all MSC cruises in the Mediterranean for sailings departing between the 01st ^of July 2022 until the 31^{st of} October 2022 

Once added and saved the offer will drop into the adjustment section where you are able to edit, update or delete  

 The offer that has been created is now on the website

The system allows you to create additional offers which can run in parallel. These price adjustments will apply with all other global price changes or simply untick the box  if you don’t want the original global price adjustment to apply 

Example: The offer is showing a reduction of £100 for sailings between 01st of July to 31st Oct MSC sailing. To create a tactical offer for a short selling period this can also be done. e.g . 5% reduction for bookings made between 25^th – 26^th Jan on all MSC cruises. This is useful when adding multiple offers.  

Please Note: There is a short delay when any offers when being updated to the website    

•  There are now two offers and in price order  

The offer is now on the website 

All MSC sailing will have a 5% discount  

• The start price was £869.00 - £100 offer £769.00 – 5% = rounded to £726.00
